From its inception as a diner on the street level of a triple-decker in Worcester’s Quinsigamond Village back in 1985 to its current facility off Grafton Street in Worcester, Creedon and Co., Inc. has always been about family: yours and ours. Founded by John W.S. Creedon and operated today by John, his daughter Julie and son John Jr., the company has continuously grown thanks to wonderful customers, a dedicated team, and an abundance of hard work.
Creedon and Co., Inc.’s first home was the bottom floor of a triple-decker in the Quinsigamond Village area of Worcester. As the catering operation grew, and requests for tents, tables, chairs and other equipment increased, so did the need for additional space. In 1998 the company moved to 39 Jolma Road (close to Routes 20, I-90, 9 and other major access points). The new facility, after an additional expansion in 2008, now consists of approximately 24,000+ square feet of warehouse space, 3,000+ square feet of kitchen space and 2,600+ square feet of office space.
Almost three decades since its founding, Creedon and Co., Inc. continues to expand operations in catering, tents and event rental equipment. We are always enhancing our menus (and welcome your suggestions!) while also increasing the breadth of our inventory as determined by our customer’s needs. Creedon and Co., Inc. is truly a one-stop event solution for customers.
Creedon and Co., Inc. is an engaged corporate citizen in and around Central Massachusetts supporting such organizations as the Mohegan Council, Boy Scouts of America; St. John’s High School in Shrewsbury; Alternatives Unlimited in Whitinsville; The March of Dimes; The Worcester Regional and Corridor Nine Chambers of Commerce; and several other organizations.
Creedon and Co., Inc. has gone even greener with the installation of 437 photovoltaic panels on the company’s roofs. They produce enough electricity to power our approximately 30,000 square foot facility and send excess wattage back onto the public power grid.
